In the Biomechanics session, the usage of materials and metals such as ivory, wood, rubber, titanium, cobalt, acrylic, and bakelite for the prosthetic implants will be discussed. The dynamics and functions of each materials with its pros and cons is a major factor in determining the type of prosthetic implant that needed to be used by the orthopedic surgeons. Another important factor is the compatibility and longevity of these implants in the host.
